Yeah. a few Summer League games and him not shooting great and he's a bust.

BTW, Nerlens Noel played 2 games, and while his percentage is high, for someone who's dubbed as a potential star big  man, he's only averaging 4 rebounds in the Summer League, must be a bust.

Aaron Gordon, averaging 6 points, 4 rebounds 33% shooting in SL, must be a bust too, right?

Are we just going to focus on his shooting and neglect every other facet of his game?

EDIT:  Also, this is the first time I can ever recall a guy being labeled a bust due to Summer League action.  Not even an NBA regular season, or preseason game for that matter.  But a summer league game.  Wow.

Hello, my name is Nickagneta, and I'd like to talk to you today about Kelly Olynyk...
Wait...wait.... I didnt say Olynyk was a bust after seeing him in the summer league. I said it the day he was drafted. I wouldn't judge a player based solely off summer league play. ;D

Hahahha my mistake.

BTW BTW... Nerlens Noel has serious gravity in these games. You know how, when you watch a hockey game, you don't need to see the puck to know where it is? I watched the Philly-Houston game and you could simply tell that every player on the floor revolved around Nerlens Noel.

He's a very bad shooter. We should have traded down this pick to take McDermott & anybody else with the other pick. Rondo would have been happy & wouldn't ask for $100m deal.

this thread is crazy - to me he is pretty much as advertised.  His shooting needs work but he stuffs the stat sheet, plays great defense and he actually runs the point a little bit better than I expected.  He seems to play a little better when he Pressey is on the bench....

I still can't see how 3 games into SUMMER LEAGUE you can determine someone is a bust. I mean, we even wrongly categorized Billups and Joe Johnson when we traded them as young players.

Also:
Aaron Gordon: 6.8PPG, 5.0RPG, 0.8APG, +4.00PIE
Marcus Smart: 13.5PPG, 4.0RPG, 4.5APG, +12.25PIE

Become Legendary.

And finally with a semblance of a decent shooting night... well, morning.

It seems he's improving quickly at the summer league.  That's a good sign.  He looked shaky in that first game.
