Hopefully Thornton doesn't rot away on the bench..i always been a fan of his

he's only 27. he better not be anywhere near rotting.

Despite the fact he's been out of shape and horribly inefficient (besides a short burst in Brooklyn)?

Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm not hopeful about Thornton resurrecting himself.

My line-up as of now,

Rondo
Bradley
Green
Sullinger
Zeller

Don't think Danny is finished though...

Sadly his potential stagnated years ago. Oh well always a place for one gunner on a team.

He can fit into the same role off the bench that MarShon Brooks had last season.

1st: Danny can't be finished. Too many moving pieces and action yet to come. With the current squad, Stevens would likely have a few different starting linups.

The VET version: Rondo, Bradley, Green, Wallace, Bass (Thornton 6th man)

The well balanced version: Rondo, Bradley, Green, Sully, Zeller (shooting, size, rebounding, D)

I can't finish this post .. . none of this looks good. We have no paint presence besides undersize Sully. Zeller has to sack up & beef up and we need someone else.

You guys are really underestimating how great rondo is. This is his contract year, he is going to be playoff rondo if not every other game probably every game.

Probable starting 5

Rondo
Bradley
Green
Sully
Zeller

Smart eventually being our 6th man and when smart is playing the 1 and Bradley at the 2, I see dominance there.

Bench team of

Smart
Thornton
Wallace
Bass
Kelly

^^^ scoring

My favorite lineup I want to see is

Smart
Bradley
Green
Sully
Kelly

I really think that lineup can score 100 a game, but rondo is by far the best point guard on our team and he will be the best player. Once smarts shot goes down I can see him being James harden esque off the bench but with actual defense.

I'm serious I see this team a 40-46 win team, we are a move away though , we need to get rid of bass andwallace and Idc if it was for fab Melo, I just don't want getting minutes.

Current Starting lineup

C- zeller
Pf- sully
Sf- green
Sg - ab
Pg- rondo

Bench
C- KO
Pf - Bass
Sf - wallace
Sg - Smart
Pg - pressey

Specialty
- young (3 pt shooting, scoring)
- thornton (same)

Extra bodies
- anthony, fav
- moser, babb

Fav, moser and babb play at the d league is my guess.

The 4th quarter lineup imo will depend which two of KO, Sully, zeller, bass are hot. Same goes for the sg situation. Same with the sf situation as thorton or youmg are just too good not to have out on the floor.

Stevens has alot more flexibility to work with than with last seasons lineup.

Maybe like the hawks of last season the celts can sneak into 8th place

I will be shocked if Young is not the the NBADL.

He was the leading scorer and rebounder in the National Championship game.

He might surprise you.
