I hope Bosh chooses Houston, Bron chooses CLE and Melo LA.  Wade rots in MIA with their crappy fanbase.

Howard and Bosh are a lethal tandem - thanks mostly to Bosh's shooting. There won't be anything the league can do against that inside game. And then there's James Harden creating and shooting a bazillion three pointers.  If Bosh goes to Houston they are the title favorite - wherever James goes.

People who think Bosh leaving Miami would hurt them are wrong.
Actually it helps them. He's clearly not worth max money. Lebron, Melo and Wade (who take a discount because of his injuries) plus McRoberts, Granger, Ray, Norris Cole, Haslam, Napier is not worse than 2013/14 Heat.
And I think they have room for one more useful player.

No, they are not.
San Antonio, Lebron's team (probably Miami), OKC are the title favourites.
Houston can't even beat Portland with home court advantage. Bosh does not make such big difference.

I'm not sure why that leads to an assumption that Melo signs there, it's not sure thing.  Also that team is even weaker inside, which is saying a lot.

I don't think it makes them favorites either but up there in the West and how would adding an All Star not be a big upgrade?  This is a team that was already good on offense and now you're adding the perfect compliment to Howard's game there and a good defender too.  It is a big deal.

Feel the latest news cycle has Lebron trending back to Miami, which means Bosh in all likelihood will follow him.  Can turn on a dime, though.

Actually I do see Bosh as difference maker in HOU...
he got an improved 3pt shooting... and played a major role during their playoff ran 2yrs ago..
HOU problem will be getting a PG (in case they trade away Lin) that can hold the ball away from Harden

Do you think Bosh does little to change Houston's ability to guard bigs such as Lamarcus Aldridge?

Let's go through the contender list:

I think we have to agree that, in all cases, scoring is not going to be a huge problem for the Rockets (who lead the league in points last year, and field goals: http://stats.nba.com/leagueTeamGeneral.html?pageNo=1&rowsPerPage=16&sortField=PTS&sortOrder=DES). The issue is whether the three teams you reference will be able to score.

(1). Miami: James, Wade, McBob and Danny Granger (Lebron and the also-rans). This team couldn't get it going last year WITH an elite big man, why would replacing Bosh with McRoberts make them a favorite? Wade will be a year older - and Danny Granger is simply not an elite offensive player. Battier is retiring, and they too have PG issues.

(2). San Antonio was great last year. But with Howard and Bosh on the block, I think Duncan is going to have more trouble getting his shots. And let's be real: it starts with Duncan. Without him going, San Antonio is going to have to depend a lot on Tony Parker. Can Houston get a cheap, talented defensive minded point guard? (Or do they have one? http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/3964/patrick-beverley). I don't think Ginobli, or Kawhi Leonard are going to be able to do it alone - notwithstanding Harden's embarrassingly huge defensive deficiencies. (Jones is a decent two way player).

(3). OKC? Durant is a good player, but he's going to be looking at real rim protection, so will Westbrook. Whatever part of their game relies on interior scoring (hey Serge!) is going to have to be re-jiggered. Do the Thunder have the three point shooters to beat Houston? They are a good three point shooting team - but they aren't elite. And with Jones (to guard Durant) and Beverly (to guard Westbrook) who is going to take those shots? Not Ibaka (although Ibaka, defensively, would NEED to be on the floor). If you were Scott Brooks -  would you play Reggie Jackson alongside Westbook? Who would guard Harden then.

You see what I mean? They would be a very tough Matchup.

Honestly OKC could really use Al Jefferson. They desperately need a post scorer that doesn't shoot jumpers and if they managed to keep Ibaka, they could make up the deficiencies from Jefferson's defense in the post.

Be funny if the Heat fans were left with only their hero , DWade ......and Bosch and James cut out on them....

Wade opted out, though. If Miami loses Bosh and Lebron, does it want Wade back?

yeah...unfortunately, he is their franchise player. He will resign for longer and less money.

If Wade wants to stay I can't imagine Miami stiffing him after asking him to opt out of $42 million.

I could see Wade deciding to move on himself but Miami is going to offer to make him whole for opting out.

Chris Bosh SHOULD go to HOU.

He's be a GREAT fit with Dwight.

Let LeBron continue to hold MIA and CLE hostage, but go about your business, Chris.
