There are two Larry Sanders. One is a top 5 rim protector, and the best interior defender in the league. He is 25 years old and has a 7'6'' wingspan and 9'4'' standing reach, and has an explosive quick jump. IN JUST 27MPG He led the league in blocks with 2.8 and has 9.8ppg and 9.5rpg in 13', which was his breakout year. His per 40 was 14/14/4blocks.

The other: Got in to a nightclub fight last summer, in which he hurt his thumb and missed time. He tested positive for marijuana and missed time. He had an eye injury and missed time. He is going in to a Rehab Facility THIS SUMMER. He just started his 4 year 44million dollar deal.

Now, there are conflicting reports about the Larry Sanders and his future with the Bucks.

Quote
Contrary to a report, the market for Sanders is virtually non-existent as he not only has been plagued by off-court issues - he is expected to enter a rehab facility this summer - but will be entering the first of a four-year, $44 million contract next season.

My opinion is that if everything went well after Sanders rehab and he got the help he needs, then this is one heck of a steal. But he could be a bad teammate and hurt the cohesion for our young group. Again, he could just need a fresh scene and a new coach, that is well known for his success with younger players.

Sanders game reminds me of Deandre Jordans. They both shared similar numbers and similar measurements. Jordans breakout year just ended, but it began and was attributed to a new coach(Doc). Could it be that Sanders would have another breakout year and career under a new coach, new city, and the right help/plan.

Whatever your opinion, one thing is for sure, Larry Sanders value will never be lower

He was pretty bad last year.  A team would need serious balls to trade for him at this point.

I'd trade em Gerald Wallace

7points  7 rebounds  1.7 blocks

I can value what you say, and understand. But if they are asking little to nothing for him, its very hard to pass up considering the 2013 Larry Sanders is exactly what this team needs.

Btw, I tracked down that paper referenced in the video.   Some interesting stuff there:  http://www.sloansportsconference.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/The%20Dwight%20Effect%20A%20New%20Ensemble%20of%20Interior%20Defense%20Analytics%20for%20the%20NBA.pdf

Kevin Love listed as one of the worst defenders.

i would be on board for this move and this could count as some "fireworks", methinks. $11m/yr isn't a bad rate either for a starting center. Of course, that could blow up on our face, but when he becomes an expiring contract, he could hold value again.

I honestly think there is a possibility they may do that. If we do use our tpe on Lin, I could def see us swapping them. Lin is an expiring and good for their backcourt. He's also very polite and wholesome

I don't think they'll trade him, btw.  You don't get rid of a player that talented when his value is dirt low.   http://fansided.com/2014/07/02/larry-sanders-rumors-milwaukee-bucks-ready-trade/#!9dQ9x

They probably want to trade so he won't be a bad influence on Jabari Parker.

It will never be lower ... until after the Celtics get him.  ;D

He's the highest paid player on their team by far ....and this is a small market team.

You can't post sanders' highlight videos without including his bizarre roller skates on ice bar fight video.
