Since the draft when Sac picked Stauskas, I've been wondering if there is a potential 3 team trade between Bos-Det-Sac out there if the stars align.

Principles would be:

Bos gets Monroe + Stauskas
Sac gets Josh Smith + Rondo
Det gets Jeff Green + Mclemore

It would probably require a S&T for Isaiah Thomas and a whole lot of other stuff to make the salaries work, but I can think of reasons why all parties involved might listen.  Detroit's end might need a little sweetening, but they would get to dump Josh Smith.

That is a nice looking trade. Pistons really wanted mclemore but he was picked prior also.

Starting lineup

Monroe
Ko
Young
Stauskus
Smart

Looks good

Blegh.. Too much inexperience on that team... U cant go anywhere good with 3 rookies and a soph in the starting 5... Start bradley over stauskas and sign hayward to start at the 3... Ive never seen young as a SF and certainly not a starting SF... Maybe against smaller sozed backup 3s but thats an exception..

Get Monroe for Green and then go after Parsons or Haywood for your SF.

who is haywood?

I rather take my chances with James Young at the sf spot.

Gordon Haywood
*  6'8" SG/SF
*  Utah Jazz
*  Played for Coach Brad
**You can look up the rest of his info on ESPN, or Wikipedia, or whatever floats your boat
Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.

I think anybody relying on James Young to be a starter on a winning team is in trouble.

I'm big on Young, but he shouldn't be starting his rookie year.

Would love to have Monroe.

Especially if we can still end up getting Love.

Love and Monroe would be an awesome front court!

He started for kentucky as a rookie.
If he was frail or incredibly raw, you dont start him. But he has size (215) and if anything can be a deadly shooter, underrated scorer. Defense he will have to get better at

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I didnt even read the post.

YES! That makes sense for both teams. Smith moves to the PF spot and we get a non defending but offensively gifted Center.
2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.
PG: Jrue Holiday / Isaiah Thomas / Larry Hughes
SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons
C: Jermaine O'neal / Ben Wallace

I really likes your idea. Danny should do it.
