It's way too early to write off the possibility of getting Love. If Minnesota is now a playoff team in the West, then those picks will be roughly 20th in the draft and not really of great value. Dieng is interesting, but if it comes to the point that we are moving Rondo, I would like something back that would be a more significant part of the rebuild process like Monroe, just as one of many possibilities. If we are rebuilding, just let those salaries eventually become expiring contracts that can possibly be moved with other assets for a star. If you could come up with a smaller trade for just Dieng and a bad contract of their's (Budinger, Brewer, or Martin) for something like Olynyk and the nonguaranteed Bogans contract, I'd be a lot more interested.
