C's could sign Rondo and Max contract next year (2015-16)

Was just looking at the C's salaries for 2015-16 , and we will have a TON of cap room

Under contract

Wallace = 10,105,855  mil
Green   =   9,200,000  mil (Player Option)
Smart    =   3,172,320 mil (Based on #6 pick from 2013, Nerlens Noel)
KO         =  2,165,106  mil (Team Option)
Sully      = 2,269,260   mil  (Team Option)
Young   =  1,617,840  mil ( Based on #17 from 2013 , Dennis Schroder)


Cap holds for 9 empty roster spots = 4,500,00

Total = 33, 030, 381

Salary Cap for 2014 = 63.2 mil

if Rondo and another max player will take 15 mil a year ( like the heat's big 3 did) , we would have enough to sign both . 

PG: Rondo                   / ?
SG: Smart                   / Young
SF: Green                / Wallace
PF: Love  or Gasol   / Sully
 C:  Gasol or Love    / KO?\

We have 2 1st rd picks next year , but could easily move them if needed, though we won't move ours if we land another lottery pick .

I guess the key would be to move Green with the clips pick for and expiring and future picks . That way we would have more than enough to sign Rondo and Love OR Gasol, plus another solid player in the 6-8 mil range

I don't think this is a bad option. You just need to keep a happy ship this year, make some strides and win some games, generate some excitement so that the team becomes a, "but if the Cs can add someone this year, lookout!"-type media story and it could work. Rondo remaining content would help a lot.

we need to add TWO players to rondo to be contenders.  those two players are not currently on our roster.
