I really like the idea of pursuing Kosta Koufos.

He's a legit 7ft tall, long, can run the floor, efficient offensively, and effective and active defensively.

Only owed $3mill for one more season and still just 25 years old.

Only year he got an actual opportunity (22mpg) in 2012, he averaged 8/7/1 while shooting 58%.
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

And for those exact reasons why do you think he would be traded?  With the uncertainty surrounding both Randolph and Gasol there's no way Memphis trades him..

Joel Embiid could make Nerlens Noel redundant in Philly...

TPE + future picks for DeAndre Jordan.  Help facilitate moving Lebron out west.

Seriously they would have 3 of the top 5 players in the league (Paul, Lebron, Griffin) Durant and Davis being the others.  Bosh and Wade aren't even in the top 10 anymore (Love, George, Westbrook, Rose if healthy or Tony Parker, Lamarcus)

I think Lebron will do it and we need to take advantage and get Jordan here.

Gortat is a free agent.

If WAS wants to sign and trade him, we can maybe SnT Bradley for him or trade Green.

Or there's the outside shot that he may want to sign outright.

Play to win.  Always.

Expect some moderately priced stop gap type of big who can maybe defend a little.  This team won't be trying to really win for quite awhile I'm afraid.

I like Mozgov, or any legit 7 footer, that can rebound and block shots.

However, I agree with some of the above about Embiid and Nerlen being redundant...if he is ready to play, let's TRY to grab him...

low cost...meh we might be 8th seed or miss playoff again next year (I don't mind, I want to see Smart develop and play with Rondo)...give them Bass, or even give them KO

I would love to see MARC Gasol on the C's. I'd love it if it were Love AND Gasol. But I can dream can't I?

Bass is an expiring contract now. I would love if it Ainge could find a way to trade Bass for Koufos. Only a short term solution but it should be enough to give the Celtics a chance at making playoffs next year.

Wait till the draft next year. There are tons of Bigs and cheap rookie contracts with big potential and high ceilings.

Noticed that Greg Monroe ( a free agent ) wasn't one of the options.  He's a poor defender but young (25) can score and rebound.

S&T for Gortat, and let's start the season already.
