Tomorrow at 8pm eastern time, csnne will be replaying the 1997 draft special with Pitino, Tommy, and everybody, followed by a reaction-type program at 9 where fans can weigh in, etc. I just have one question - why? Why would you ever want to remind people of such a time? Are they trying to set the bar really low for the upcoming draft, like, "see, it could be a lot worse."
I was just a kid at the time, and didn't start watching the NBA until I became a Celtics fan in 04-05, so from that standpoint, it could be equally interesting and nauseating. What do you guys think? I think they had a brief clip of Pitino as part of the ad for it. Just thought I'd let everyone know.
