Loooool.   Top 2 picks, baby

Congrats, I had a feeling having the lakers assigned pick was a good omen for you
It was a win/win... either the Lakers fell on their face (win as a Celtic fan) or they hopped up (win for the Leprechauns)...

I'm also glad I didn't give away my own pick (#2).  I was pretty desperately shopping it around at the trade deadline, because I was afraid of exceeding 75 missed games.  I forget what I offered you, but I definitely at one point offered you what became #2 + additional picks for what became #3.

You'll be fine though.  I like all the guys in the top 4.

Yup I remember .  Watching you work the waiver wire furiously was worth it though.  I have a feeling my top guys are different than others anyways so it doesn't matter to me.  Pretty sure I'll get the guys I wanted
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

Yeah... also fair to note that I already have Embiid and Noel as long-term centers... so I might do something unexpected at the top anyways.

Long time until we actually draft.   My opinion could change dramatically after summer league.

This is interesting, because there are quite a few 1st and early 2nd round picks that are "outside the traditional box score" kind of players, who would be useless in this game. So really, you can take the guy who is actually BPA and it could be a terrible disaster.

Yeah... it will be really interesting to see where WCS goes.  I think he's the epitome of what you're describing... a guy who should make an impact, but not in the box score.

Agreed - to an extent.  Tyson Chandler puts up 35 per game in our league.  He does that almost exclusively by shooting a good fg% since his points are all at the rim, and rebounding.   That is sort of the blueprint for WCS.  Not to mention, if his defense is as good as expected, he'll be on the floor actually playing.

I'm interested in 2016 1st rounders. I have a lot of assets id consider moving.  For example, Shved (who was averaging 40+ fp in New York before his injury) is available. I'd be open to trading a couple of my later picks in this draft (like 27 + 32) for a 2016 1st.  I'm open to moving a prospect like tyler ennis or Anthony Bennett depending on the 2016 1st.

But until the commish gives the green light, we can't yet trade 2016 1sts.  If anyone wants to engage in exploratory talks, I'm always available.

Oh I just realized where the Utah Flash name came from.  Was that our D-League affiliate for a while?
