It looks like the consensus is going to be letting Yahoo handle it. Just wanted to give folks a chance to scream if necessary =)

Takeaway is that waivers will go through for Weds lineups, so don't count on a claimed player for Tuesday night's opening games.

Byennie, is there anyway to adjust max pending trades in league settings from your end?  I think Lucky17 said it wasn't possible in the past.  Just kinda lame that you can only ever have 6 pending trades at once.   Speaking of which,  Fitz, Harry and Byennie... I sent you all the draft-pick trades we previously agreed to.  Accept them when you get a chance.

Byennie, are you also as league commish able to push through the (previously agreed) draft pick trades once teams accept them or do they have to go through the typical waiting period of typical trades?  It just might look confusing to people... "Wait... why did so and so trade their 1st rounder for nothing"

Yeah no luck on the max pending trades... seems to be an oversight / hard limit in Yahoo.

I'll see what's there in terms of green-lighting draft pick trades, but I'm not aware of anything at the moment.

I know in ESPN leagues the commish can force through trades... but no worries if it's not possible.

GMs - all of the rosters are up and open for business. Please consult the Yahoo! forums for the most up-to-date information.

We do have a waiver wire crunch issue. I've been experimenting with different settings, and even if I make the waiver period 1 day, Yahoo is wanting to make Tuesday count as that day 1. In other words, waiver claims would be processed on Wednesday. I can't really tell if this has changed in the way Yahoo processes it, since this is my 1st year doing it. But even with continuous waivers (process on Tuesday) as the setting, it's telling me a claim will process Weds (!).

As eja mentioned, this would only affect 3 NBA games and possibly not a single fantasy starter, so I think it will be ok, HOWEVER, I am willing to conduct 1 round of manual waivers if necessary (i.e. GMs would need to send me their claims directly and I'd 'process' them Monday night).

TP to byennie on completing his first offseason as commish! A little snafu with the waiver timing, but all-in-all a solid performance.

Good luck to everyone this season. It should be fun and entertaining.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Not sure if it comes through on Yahoo, but the deal that HP and I made (Papanikalous for Sweet Lou Williams) also includes DD's 2nd rounder for 2015.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

I don't see it in the official transaction.

it was posted in the comments of the deal I sent on Yahoo. I had DDs second rounder in the Marcus Morris for Lou Williams and DDs 2nd trade, and basically moved both for Papanikolaou. DD should send his second to Champkind on Yahoo.

Going to move Chris Andersen. Looking for a 2nd, don't care if you're picking last.
