It's always a bummer, thinking about either Bias or Reggie.

Aye, both sad and what could have been.   Two lives lost and other lives shattered around them taken too soon.

i go back and forth a lot about Len Bias.

sometimes I think that as much of a tragedy this was, it was the risk he took and it bit him.  You take that risk every time you use drugs, I dont care if its just weed.  I feel sorry for his family and not for him, and if I wasnt a celtics fan and knew how much this crushed the franchise, I would probably never even think twice about this day

then theres the other side of me that has a hard time blaming Len 100%.  Coke back in the mid 80s was like weed is today, everybody was doing it.  He wasnt a guy like say, a Dexter Manley who had chance after chance after chance and just kept blowing it.....and he just went to jail.  Len as far as we know, only got one strike no jail, just lights out.

The Len Bias/Reggie Lewis duo---would have given Jordan/Pippen Hell--!
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Agreed.  Reggie hits a lot closer to home for me b/c Bias was a bit before my time, but neither leave a guy feeling particularly good.

Sigh.  Bias + Lewis > Jordan + Pippen.

I wouldn't go that far but it would've been a fun battle to watch regardless.

Yeah, that's really pushing it.

That said, imagine the late 80's Celtics with Bird, McHale, Parish, Lewis and Bias.
