We get love by giving up picks, sully, bass, wallace etc
trade #17 and green for Monroe from detriot

Then we sign lebron in free agency
sign PP
resign Bradley
sign hayward

Have a line up of
 Rondo/pressly
Hayward/Bradley
Lebron/Johnson
Love/Olynyk
Monroe/Joel anthony/Iverson

This possible technically but extremely extremely unlikely
zach lavine-jeremy lin-tyus jones
jeremy lamb-tyshen prince-Andre miller
will barton- beljina-
Kevin love-kevin garnet-payne
Karl anthoney Towns-JJ hickson

That's not your typical dream... That's a wet dream.

So with relatively no cap room we sign James, Hayward, and Pierce via free agency? Hawkeye, you're way off the mark....

Why would you ever want Lebron on the Celtics?  No, No, NOOOOOOO!  That's a nightmare, not a dream, haha.  He couldn't play with Rondo anyway because they both need the ball, so they don't compliment each other.  At all.  Plus, I can't imagine Rondo ever playing with the guy whose teams were Boston's chief rivals during our run.  He's very old school in his approach, like KG and Pierce.  This wouldn't really help Lebron's image as a hired gun, which is another reason why I don't want Love or Melo.  Is Danny's plan just to rent allstars?  I don't like that model.  Build from the ground up, starting with this draft, and then we'll see where we are.  Big name free agents have never come here.  Ever.

That doesn't mean the Celts shouldn't pursue all-stars, whether it's by trade or free agency.

Also, building from the ground up doesn't necessarily work either.

If you prefer to wait a while to see a good team, then I guess it's an option.

But why not expedite the process, if you can?

And to those saying they wouldn't want Lebron, I am just shaking my head.

Of course I'd love to beat him, but why you wouldn't want the best player in the league on your team is beyond me.

Always good to raise prices for other teams/peeps, that is true.

Actually, I was thinking more like, pursuing all-stars so they could actually come play in Boston.

To me, "raising the price" for other teams is meaningless, if you're not going to acquire the player.

Lebron James as a Celtic is more of a nightmare than a dream for me.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Id like to actually draft these players and then go from there
