BOS Out: Sully, Bass, Bogans, Anthony, 2014 #6 and #17, and 2015 BOS Pick
BOS In: Love, Brewer

MIN Out: Love, Brewer
MIN In: Sully, Bass, Bogans, Anthony, 2014 #6 and # 17, and 2015 BOS Pick

Separate (but contingent on above) trade

BOS In: Kevin Martin
MIN In: TPE, 2015 Phi Pick

Last, third trade:
BOS In: Marcin Gortat S&T (3-4 years at 10 million)
WAS In: Jeff Green, 2015 Clips Pick

Why Boston does it: In my opinion, this team is competing to come out of the East.  You play towards the Heat's weaknesses (rebounding and a strong frontcourt), and you have two excellent perimeter defenders in Brewer and Wallace to check the better perimeter defenders of the league. Also, Rondo will have three legitimate threats to assist in Martin, Love, and Gortat, and just imagine the P&Rs with Rondo and Gortat/Love!
Depth Chart -
PG: Rondo, Pressey
SG: Martin, Johnson, FA (Resign Bayless)
SF: Brewer, Wallace
PF: Love, Olynyk
C: Gortat, Faverani

Why MIN does it: They get young talent in Sully, instant cap relief in Bogans, Bass' veteran presence, and two expiring contracts in Bass and Anthony.  Also, they rid themselves of two bad contracts in Brewer and Martin, who wouldn't really fit with their rebuild. Plus, they get a great pick in this draft, a decent pick at 17 in this deep draft, a decent pick with our 2015 pick, and probably two second rounders from Philly. This would allow them to completely blow it up while adding several talented rookies this year and next and young, talented players to start with.

Why WAS does it: There was a rumor that the Wizards have long coveted Green, and Gortat has stated on several occasions that he wouldn't mind playing in Boston.  Seeing Love as his frontcourt mate and Rondo running the point, he would definitely have interest in signing here. If he would try to force his way here, we could utilize a sign and trade with him by sending Green to get him here. We'd probably have to sweeten the pot with a pick, and, hopefully, the Clips pick next year would suffice.

So who says no, or where is it not feasible?

Not a bad plan to acquire Love and Gortat....but this team is nearly the Wolves of 2014. There are no real wing creators. Leave out the martin deal and add a wing attacker like Hayward  and then OK.

if you watch the successful teams, they have multiple guys who can create off the dribble and pass effectively. ThAt group does not have that ability ( other than rondo).  Just my opinion.

I can see the 2014 Wolves comparison, but Rondo (especially contract year Rondo) is at a totally different level than Rubio and Gortat is a much better two way player than Pek.  Also, don't forget they play in the terrible East.

What wing creator were you thinking?  Hayward is probably going to be too expensive, and I'm not sure who else we could afford or plausibly attain that fits that description.
