Help Cleveland get 2015 cap space?

Sullinger , Nets 2016 pick, and filler - Bass, Faverani,  Anthony for

Jack, Bennett, Waiters

They would have almost no one under contract except for Zeller, Sullinger, and Embiid.  So they would have tons of space to bring back Kyrie and potentially another big free agent.  We could also trade them the Philly pick that's likely to become two 2nd rounders.

Basically we are trading Nets 2016 for Waiters and we are trading Sullinger for Bennett.  Sullinger is way cheaper than Bennett.  We are also taking Jack's contract off their hands.  It doesn't make sense unless you think they aren't extremely pleased with a Waiters and Bennett and want a do over.  (And they want a ton of space in 2015.

We get two young talented players that we may not otherwise get.

Rondo
Jack
Bradley
Waiters
#17 pick
Green
Bennett
Vonleh
Olynyck
Asik?

They would need to find a couple of wing players on one year deals.

Irving
??
??
Sullinger Bass  Zeller
Varajeo  Embiid

Maybe they give someone a chance like Danny Granger to sign a one year deal and try to earn a bigger deal the next offseason.

They would have a little more left:

Kyrie
??   Karasev. Dellasova
Thompson. Gee
Sullinger. Bass. Zeller
Varajeo. Embiid

Not sure of the point of this trade for the Celtics. I like Jack a lot, a good player at PG or SG who can create his own shot to a certain extent. Waiters seems like too much of a disruptive influence, and anyone who voluntarily takes on an unmotivated and overweight Bennett after his singularly awful rookie season should have their head examined.

We would be giving up a still developing PF in Sullinger, a fairly seasoned and productive veteran in Bass and a guy who has shown flashes of potential in Faverani, who doesn't seem to have been given a fair crack of the whip under Stevens. Plus the Nets' 2016 pick which may yet turn out to be half decent.

No thanks.

You would be buying low on a couple of obvious talents in hopes of one of them turning into al All Star.  Got to take risks sometimes.

Obvious talents? Bennet is the joke of the league. He's a chubby undersized power forward . Waiters has underachieved thus far, but I never liked him, he thinks he's the man.
