  • Basketball is Newtonian Physics

1) He's going anyway
2) who cares you're rebuilding, he's not taking up valuable cap space while you develop young guys...exactly why we took him on this season? And he's an expiring contract after next season
3) trade away two lotto picks for Joel Embid, Wiggins, or Jabari Parker.

1) And this is the only deal and the best deal they can get?
2) And he limits other moves a rebuilding team can make to acquire assets and doesn't bring extra assets with him.
3)  Who will be ready to leave Minnesota when they can not build any talent around them because they gave up a top 10 player and two lotto picks to get one rookie.

^ We're trading Who to the Bucks?
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

I just realized the Bucks pick is actually #2 lol
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.
