With both players set to become free agents next year, and our #6 pick being shopped by Danny, who would u like in return? A top 10 player in Love or a defensive specialist in Gasol?

Would u rather have a trade of:
#6, Sully, Bogans, 2015 clippers, and 2016 Brooklyn for Love

ORRRR

#6, Bass, Bogans, Green, 2015 clippers for Marc Gasol

As much as I love Gasol, I'd probably stick with Love.  Gasols almost 30

I'm not a massive love fan, but I'd have to say Love.

Gasol is not really a big time scorer, and given his age (near 30) and injury history there is no telling when he might hit a huge decline.

Hard to say, I don't like throwing the 2016 Brooklyn pick in for Love, but he's almost certainly a better target than Gasol, if only because of relative age.

Kevin Love

I agree about the 2016 pick as it could possible be top 5 but i think that pick could be what puts our offer over the top and seals the deal..

They would be a perfect fit for each other. If we got Gasol we'd need a dynamic scorer, and if we got Love we'd need a great defensive center.

I'd say Love but I'm a huge Gasol guy. And guys since when is a (not even) 30 year old too old to trade for?

If Love ends up in Phoenix or Houston, I would take Gasol, especially with giving up fewer assets as you proposed. Starting five after that trade might be

Rondo
Bradley
SF?
Sullinger
Gasol

As much as I'd want both to compliment each other I'd prefer Love.

Gasol, but I'd be wary of giving up too much for either of them.

Love.

I understand that Gasol does the little things and is a strong post defender, but hard for me to get overly excited over 14/7/1.5BPG.

If it's either/or, I'd prefer Gasol.

I don't need to say it but I will anyway... I take Gasol because of the assets alone. Not giving up Sully or KO? Sign me up.

Gasol is experienced enough and at a good age to win right now. We won't have a bigger window with Love just b/c he's young, he's already saying win now or goodbye at 25, he's probably going to give us the same window as we could have with Gasol. I bet we can get a good 4 years out of Gasol and if Love signs with us he will likely agree to that same time frame and leave as soon as he can, if we don't meet expectations.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)
