Lots of denial in this thread.

Love may not come here, but the idea that Bleacher Report is an actual source has nothing to do with denial.

Lots of denial in this thread.

Nothing to do with denial, buddy... Just has to do with Ric Bucher being a biased moron when it comes to these things.. His bias against the Celtics couldnt be more obvious and he thinks every player is gonna end up in the Bay Area somehow..

Lots of denial in this thread.

Do you believe what he says is true?

Its plausable.  Plus the celts roster with trading our key assets would set the team back . Love wants to make the playoffs first. Not come to boston to play for the historic celts first

Lots of denial in this thread.
Bucher doesn't have very good sources overall. He's reliable with Kobe's camp and a few other agents I think, but he's not plugged in with front offices.

If Bucher reports something that involves the Warriors though, that could be 80-90% accurate. He's connected to the team FO's. He was on point about David Lee playing in the Playoffs after injuring his hip and was listed as out for season. He reported the Steve Blake rumor (which came about), at least here in the Bay Area. He's also the main guy behind the Mark Jackson fiascoes.

With the Dubs, he's got a solid reputation. Don't know about the rest of the league.

So there's a chance that there is merit to the Love preferring the Dubs rumors.
2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.
PG: Jrue Holiday / Isaiah Thomas / Larry Hughes
SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons
C: Jermaine O'neal / Ben Wallace

I'm certain that the Warriors think he prefers the Warriors. Makes sense that's what they'd tell Bucher.

Ric Bucher:  Shoot, I've got a video column due Monday?  Eh, I'll slap together something contrarian about Kevin Love, those always get some views.  Use a lot of weasel words to make it look like I know what I'm talking about without actually giving any meaningful info.  Screw it, it's only Bleacher Report.  Now cut the check, baby, Daddy needs some of that new tanning cream made with diamond dust!

in the Summer of 2007...Bucher also reported that Kobe Bryant would NEVER wear a Lakers uniform again....the guy is less reliable than A. Sherrod.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

the wolves would be fools to make that trade, they'd set their team back another half decade. warriors have one elite young star who they won't trade, then 2 older stars (iggy and lee) who'd have limited value to a rebuilding team, then they have a bunch of overrated role young players that GS fans and the media keep hyping as being future stars, but they're not.
GS also has ZERO draft picks they can trade. maybe they could get a few in a 3-way trade, but hard to see anyone giving up anything other than late first-rounders for what GS has to offer.
c's can massively trump any offer GS makes.
and if this trade DID happen, love would be playing on a gutted team with little help coming in due to their lack of draft picks. no way GS could get that 3rd star to pair with love and curry, they'd be a fake contender with even worse defense than they have now. c's have more avenues towards building a true contender.

Lots of denial in this thread.

I think Bucher might well be right that Love winds up elsewhere.  I just don't think Bucher saying so is at all informative in either direction.  His track record is pretty awful, and the amount of confidence he expresses seems totally unrelated to the quality of his info.
