Give them the option of adding Green for Ilyasova to the deal?

They would have:

Rondo
Giannis
Green
Henson  Vonleh
Sanders

Boston starts over with Wiggins.  Do not resign Humphries or Bradley.Bass/Knight come off the books in a year.  Stretch Wallace next summer.   How much cap room would we have next summer?

Would also have a great shot at top 3 pick in 2015.

The Bucks would never do it because there's no way whatsoever that Rondo resigns with them.

Why are we tanking for 2015?

Don't have to tank with that lineup to get a top pick.

think a lot of team are considering trading for top players without a commitment.

Ehh. Mayo is a chucker, knight is not a good point guard. Pass.

Not really sure I want to put up with a second straight season of unwatchable Celtics basketball.

The pro-Gordon faction shouldsoon  be clubbing this trade to death.  If Gordon = Wiggins, then we're giving up Rondo and the 17th for Mayo or Knight.

The anti-Rondo faction should soon be insisting on throwing a future 1st into the pot to ensure the Bucks don't refuse.

I love me some Wiggins, but I think this is too high of a price to pay.  I'd pass.

I would trade Rondo and #17 (or a future first rounder). I'd want to keep the 6th though.

Yes exactly...dont think it would happen but this is fair value if rondo signed with mil as part of the deal.

I don't like this trade for the bucks because Rondo will not resign and this team is so weak at guard that it would be lottery bound anyways. They are much better off growing a young core of Wiggins/Parker, Giannis, Knight and Henson. This is a young group that will excite their fan base for years.

I don't completely hate the initial trade for the Cs but your post trade plan I dont understand. The Cs would have Knight,Mayo,Wiggins, Sully and KO as a starting lineup. Why not resign the still very young AB to add to this group? Why stretch Wallace over more years? A big name FA is not joining this group as they develop so why add years to wallace on the books just to save some cap room? If anything post this trade I would resign AB and try to package Mayo and Bass for a center.

ugh, pass on this mess.

Mayo and Knight would become the starting backcourt and we can see how well that's worked out in Mil.  Getting Wiggins or Embiid at #2 would be a nice building block to have but there's no proven vet to lead the team.  (jeff Green and Gerald Wallace are NOT the players I want running the lockerroom)

C's would have one of the worst records again and would have to hope that Wiggins/Embiid doesn't eventually bolt in FA or demand a trade because they want to play for a winner --> something they wouldn't experience while in Boston short of a miracle.

Yea I'd consider this, more likely to do it if Embiid was on the board. You would have a big man rotation of Embiid/KO/Sully that would be a very good young threesome, than you could draft Smart with the 6th assuming he's still there.
