Brazil down 0-2 in first 20 minutes of 3rd place playoff.

Pretty negative team on the pitch for Brazil too. Luiz Gustavo, Paulinho, Ramires and Oscar. Very little creativity in that bunch. Very little width also. Willian as main creative threat. Jo up front by his lonesome. Does not look like a side capable of making up a two goal deficit. No firepower.

Hernanes barely touching the ball. Brazil playing down the flanks and ignoring central midfield playmaker.

What is the point in putting central playmaker on pitch if you don't utilize him?

Brazil hasn't looked at all like "Brazil" in the tournament, they've been just another soccer team.  There's no utilizing negative space, no "joga bonito", just direct dribble the ball up and cross it soccer. They seem to have lost their identity. A few Cups ago you could put any color jersey on them and identify them by their style of play. That's no longer the case.

I can barely watch the game, my mind is completely occupied by tomorrow's final.

Can't wait.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

I'd guess you don't get the same commentators I do. Netherlands sent their backup keeper to the sidelines to go into the game because he was the only one there that hadn't made it into a game. 4 minutes or so left. One announcer said that he'd only get into the game if the ball went out of play. The other quickly said that, given the accuracy of Brazil's passing, there was little chance the ball would stay in play for that long. Sad but hilarious.

I guess this means that Brazil played a bunch of weak and nobody teams in this World Cup.

Holland with the rout, 3-0. Goodbye host of this venue!

Now go Germany!! Show your blitzkrieg and cause a mess to Messi and Argentina!  ;D

“Brazil, tell me how it feels,
to have daddy in your home.
I swear that even as the years go by,
we’ll never forget.
How Diego dribbled,
and Cani[ggia] stuck you*.
You’ve been crying since Italy until today,
you’ll see Messi,
bring the cup back to us.
Maradona is greater than Pelé.”?

I think it's the right thing to root for the team that beat you to win the championship. Despite being shredded apart 7-1.

that makes sense, but I also gather that the Brazilians totally dislike Argentina.

I think Brazilians can`t stand watching another rival winning the WC in Rio.
The 7 goals are hard to swallow but they d rather see Lahm with the trophy than Messi

Brazil failed the moment Scolari stupidly decided to leave Kaka off the team. Never were able to replace his leadership and play making in the final third. Relied to heavily on Neymar and had no other legit options to attack.

Scolari should be fired for this abomination.

He could have called him as a strong presence in the locker room but i don`t think Kaka coudl have produced anything on the field

I was in Belo Horizonte for the Iran Argentina game and this chant was non stop and at all rallies as well as the game.

It was pretty wild and entertaining.  I was asking one of their fans the translation and found it hilarious.  Especially cause so many Brazilians were talking crap and singing whatever song they sing (which sounds prettyssimilar)

There are great fans everywhere (i love celtic`s "can`t get enough") but Argentina is the mother of all fans.
