Aguero has been disappointing since coming on. No impact.

You'd think his pace and dribbling could cause Holland's CBs some problems.

Mascherano should be man of the match. Terrific.

It'll be interesting to see if van Gaal's "masterstroke" against Costa Rica will come back to haunt them, now, and how Cillessen deals with the fact his coach favors a different goalie for penalties.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

I think Argentina have advantage with Holland already being in a penalty shootout. Allow their GK to scout the Dutch penalty shooters.

Holland normally suck in penalty shootouts anyway.

Argh ... always felt like Vlaar was going to miss. Played so well all match long. Shame this ruins such a great performance in WC semi-final..

Oh Sneijder. Painful.

I hope the Germans win the WC Final. They play much better football than this Argentina team.

Ah, poor Dutch. Always seem to be right on the doorstep but never able to break through.

Must be a bitter pill for Brazilians to see Argentina in the final on their home soil.

Should be a great final match. Think I'll be pulling for the Argentines. Germany will be the favorite though.

Brazil need too win next Saturday against the Netherlands too wash away the loss against the Germans and to defend the Brazil honour. We the Dutch don't care about that game.

Germany will win it all!

i don`t like underperformers. Argentina during the tournament didn`t show anything to deserve a spot in the final. Holland deserved it more. But that`s football. Germany is clearly the beeter team i the final and i they know it.Thank God they are germans and won`t get overconfident :D I dont want to see Walking Messi  lifting the trophy .

I didn`t notice this when watching the game , possibly the camera didn`t catch it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2R1AyIV-tQM

a few inches more and everything would have been completely different ....
