Shot 42% from 3 last year. Makes a reasonable $7.5/per. What are the chances Orlando would agree to S&T Avery Bradley plus trade exception plus 17? Particularly if they take Exum to play with Oladipipo - what role would there be for Afflalo?

He obviously makes sense if we are 'going for it'. I definitely don't want to give up KO in the deal and am not sure they have any interest in AB since they will already have two combo guards. Maybe the TPE and a future first? I know this doesn't sound like much, but it gives them a future asset and the ability to take on extra money through next year. With Exum and Oladipo, Afflalo really has no place on that [rebuilding] team.

Note to the OP: I believe the TPE can only be traded with picks, not other players.

I'd add two second round picks from the future. Afflalo would be worth every bit of it.

Improved every year. Decent salary. Efficient scorer.

He have a nice 3p% & scored 18ppg this year but i'm all against trading first rounders since they could help us for bigger moves or bring us good players. I also thinks he's not worth #17 and/or Bradley even if Avery is a injury prone.

Because Orlando is very much under the cap, working salaries into an Afflalo deal is not complicated.  If the outgoing salaries we were sending were not enough to absorb Afflalo, we could use the exception for Afflalo and Orlando could use cap room for what we sent them.

That said, I don't anticipate Afflalo winding up in Boston, and even though I'm a long-time Afflalo fan dating back to his UCLA days, I'd prefer to stick with Bradley.

Bradley S+T plus a future first (or two future seconds) for Afflalo.

Bradley would be a bench guy for them; why would they agree to that deal? No way.

Would depend on who we draft at 6, or whether we get Love, and who we give up.  Among Love, Sully and Kelly, at least one would have to be on the team when all the trading is done, preferably two (Love plus Kelly or Sully).

I think we have a better idea of Sully's ceiling since he has gotten more PT than Olynyk. Olynyk's ceiling is very difficult to gauge based on last season.

Only go for Affalo if we land Kevin Love. He wouldn't make sense or fit in with our current roster either.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

I would not offer than picks for him.   Your making them  younger.

I don't see ORL doing this either way though.  They need a vet to lead the kids.

If they make a Love deal, I'd be very excited for Afflalo. Need to surround Rondo and Love with good defenders and  shooters.
We're the ones we've been waiting for.
