fun game to play...

the best spent $15 in my life would bring a team of:

bird $6
KG $5
walton 2$
white $1
ainge $1

the best front line in history i believe. passing would be unsurpassed by any other front line, great defense (KG and walton), scoring from all over the court, rebounds are totally owned by the celtics.

either ainge or white could bring up the ball, no need for a "pure" pg here with all five players able to pass.

ainge and bird to shoot threes..white, harder to judge but he was a good jump shooter. KG also had a good outside shot.

lots of energy and intensity as well. and ainge can bite and punch the other teams' stars.  ;D
oooh i like your team as well
i'd have to see them against mine
i had similar thoughts but poor walton couldn't give you enough time, he was still great when he was with us but for very limited minutes

Russell
McHale
Pierce
JoJo
Ainge

JoJo is a steal at $1 million. No reason to sink any extra money at PG. As great as Hondo and Bird were, Pierce's value at $3 million is hard to pass up. Ainge's value at $1 million is also hard to pass up.

McHale is one one of the 3 best post scorers in NBA history and Russell is the greatest defender and winner. A frontcourt of Russell, McHale and Pierce would be the best ever assembled by far.

what about a defensive powerhouse?

Russell - 6
KG - 5
Nelson - 1
Day - 0
DJ - 3

i feel a little shaky with Nelson vs the modern 3s, but i figure his issue would be them getting past him and Russell makes up for that at the rim.

this really should go at least 7 deep at each position with prices from $0 to $7. also Tiny needs to be restricted in what years your getting him from otherwise he breaks things at $2 as much as Jo Jo at $1(should be $3 imo but i would settle for $2) or Macauely at $1(should be at least $3 http://stats.nba.com/playerProfile.html?PlayerID=77429 )

Pretty much like mine, but I have league MVP Cowens and Lewis over Russell and Ainge.

C  : Parish $3
PF: McHale $4
SF: Bird $6
SG: Gerald Green $0   (has to be a zero the way people hate on him)
PG: Tiny Archibald $2

Would have payed for Al Jefferson but don't know his money value being he's clearly not zero.

Rondo-Garnett-Russell

That's all that's needed.
