I Love this guy for our 17 pick. He plays C and can play great defense and good offense. just watch some tape on him and you will see.

Lots of big men coming out these days can shoot from deep and mid range.  It doesn't make them the next Dirk or Kevin Love.

I thought Olynyk was the next Nowitzki.

I think you mean that Porzingis is the next Olynyk.

Watched his tape a few weeks ago, and nothing about him is impressive. Hes pretty slow, doesn't seem to have a great handle.

I don't think people understand how Kevin Love or Dirk plays..

Dirk has one of the deadliest fade away jumpers in the game. He also has the best mid range shot of all big men in the game right now, and Love isn't just a jump shooting big... Love can rebound, and has one of the sexiest outlet passes.

Nothing about Kristaps showed any of their skill sets, and he seemed awkward in his movements. I wouldn't waste my 17 on him. There are plenty of servicable role playing big men that can do what Kristaps does, for a cheaper price, and for less of a waste.

He is very young but he looks like a poor man's Spencer Hawes at this point.  Apparently he doesn't like physical contact and averaged 4 rebounds per 40 minutes last year.

I know he's young, but he looks like a stick figure.  I could probably draw an accurate sketch of him.

Four rebounds per 40! Maybe he's a rich man's Matt Bonner!!

I watched tape of him and nothing you say above about him rings true to me.  He is very quick for his size, just needs to gain some weight. He is very young, and will fill out. I don't like the comparison to Dirk, either. He is more of Joaquin Noah type.

I don't know he just looks slow/awkward to me.

Maybe I'm just seeing it differently.

Would not be surprised that when the look back at this draft in 5-8 years, he will be the best player.  I hope we grab him.  His stock keeps climbing.
