Yeah steven a only broke the Doc jetting to clippers 3 months before it happened...

That makes his success rate on rumors what, about 1%?

The same Steven A Smith who also said that Doc would go to the Celtics and we would get Blake Griffin in return?

The same Steven A Smith that predicted the Pistons were going to go hard after Tom Izzo in the offseason?

The same Steven A Smith that said the Knicks were definitely going to trade Carmelo before the trade deadline this year?

I think you see where I am going here.

Stephen A did get bosh and Lebron to Miami.

But I'm not buying this. The Knicks had no chance at rondo.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Rondo+Wallace for

Amare
Hardaway
Future picks

Or something giving us Tyson Chandler with Hardaway would definitely be pondered by Ainge.
Use Chandler down the line for a mid lotto pick.

Eg:
Rondo+Wallace+Green+bogans
For
Amare
Chandler
Hardaway
Future pick.

We bottom out, Chandler is mega value and the Knicks dangle Rondo and Melo in front of all free agents like Marc Gasol in 2015.

"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.
