Rondo Detroit Trade Idea...

Lemme just say im against MOST Rajon Rondo trade ideas however i think this one makes sense for both sides if the cap situation and everything work out...

DET IN: Rajon Rondo
BOS IN: BrandonJennings, GregMonroe, Detroits 1st rdr this year, KCP

This deal finally pairs Rondo up with JoshSmith while clearing up some frontcourt space for Detroit...
Meanwhile for Boston this trade gives the Celtics a young 6'11 talented big in Monroe as well as BrandonJennings who could play SG while we draft a PG with one of the TWO top 10 picks that we now own along with some depth at SF behind JeffGreen in KCP... With the other top 10 pick i suggest we go after Vonleh and nurture him behind Monroe...
Lineup next year:
PG: Exum/Smart, Pressey, Bayless
SG: Jennings, 17th pick, CJ
SF: Green, KCP, Wallace
PF: Sully, KO, Bass (could always bring back Hump and trade Bass instead)
C: Monroe, Vonleh, Fav

Throw in Bogans non guaranteed contract, and the trade should work.

This makes some sense for both sides, depending on the actual draft order.

The celtics could come away with the worst defensive front line in the NBA, yet super potent offensively...

Van gundy is not a fan of rondo from what I remember. He was very critical of his poor shot.

A Rondo + Anthony & Bogans and Babb trade for Monroe & Jenings make more sense. Detroit will just have to waive Bogans's contract then everything will be ok.

2. I want to see what Rondo can do as a leader without the injury excuse. Rondo might be stubborn at times but his grit in playoffs is something you want to keep.
