Expected.
Dont think that Phil wants to coach anymore, look for George Karl maybe ::)?
They will probably go for Calipari too, but I doubt that he would leave Kentucky.

The rumored front-runner is Steve Kerr.

Yeah it's not even close. Kerr's going to get offered the job and he's going to take it.

Well deserved, no excuse to not even make playoff with that team. I also think Kerr takes the job...let's see what the Knicks can do under Phil's management

I'm excited to see the triangle back in action -- I think they've got the key roster pieces to make it work.

I also thought that Woodson's biggest problem was his insistence that the team avoid the two-point guard lineup that was so good last year. Very weird.

Also, obviously, Kerr isn't going to get the job properly until he's done with the color commentary.

I feel the same way, but I think a lot of that depends on what shakes down in the next few months -- Melo was really close to Woodson.

+1.  He has absorbed alot from Jackson over the years as a player. I'm sure he would make Jackson proud.

Look for the knicks to first try to secure Anthony and get a better pg. If they can't at least someone that Kerr can work with like Steve Blake or Patty Mills

If Smith gets his act together, everyone is healthy including Amare and Shumpert, a few more key FA additions,  the team should be able to notch the 3-5 spot in the east

Point Guard's not a huge priority if you're running the Triangle, though.
