I don't like sending a legend because, frankly, I usually feel a little embarrassed for the guy up there.  They just sit there -- their face get flashed now and then.  When we get #6 or #5, he'll show some disappointment and then look like "Ok, now what do I do?"

I think 'Lucky' is the best idea since his expression won't change.  But I bet they have rules and don't wish to appear that the process is being made a mockery of.

  • Be the posts you wish to see in the world.
Send Tupac guy.  Softly play the piano riff from "Changes"* every time he's on the screen.  Conspiracy theorists spontaneously combust at their keyboards.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Rajon Rondo would be a statement, that he's in it for the long haul. Tommy would be sentimental. But I think they should immediately rehire Scalabrine, get GS to let him go somehow and get the victory cigar in there.

That or find the actual Gino.

Sadly, the actual "Gino" from the video is dead. I remember reading that the Celtics did a search for the guy and it turned out he had passed away.

Or send Rondo.

If  his presence doesn't land us a few spots up at least, trade him on draft night

I would send Antoine walker. I think he would be very comfortable in the lottery setting. I do question his luck though. This is his chance to break even !
if we won, he would ask how much money he won

just noticed in 2007 we had the #2 spot and fell back to #5
In 2007 our chances were:
#1 .199
#2 .188
#3 .171
#4 .319
#5 .123

5 was the worst we could have gotten.
