While it may loosely make sense for the Sixers (especially with the Embiid selection), I just don't know if Sully has the value. The C should definitely do it, though.

I think Embiid and Sully would be a nice, young front court for them, and I think Olynyk/Noel would be a nice young, front court for us.

Better than the Mozgov one. 

Although I'm reluctant to give up Sully for a guy who hasn't even played a single minute in the NBA. But Boston need a rim protector and Noel can do that. Although, if I'm Philly, I say no.

It would probably have to be Sully and the #18 pick.

Although Noel hasn't played yet, his potential value as a star C (unfortunately) outweighs anything that Sully has done so far.

I think it would be a smart move for Philly if they get Embiid in the draft.  Sully/Embiid would be a good looking young front court.  With Young at the three and MCW at the point and the number 10 pick (Harris?) from the Pellies, that's a promising young core.

Wut!? Am I missing something? I'm disagreeing with Who!?

For sure, in terms of fit, IN THEORY, Noel + Olynyk looks very very nice. Especially when Olynyk's coming off a monster night and is worming his way towards the Dirk end of the spectrum rather than the Scalabrine end.

But Nerlens Noel hasn't played a single game in the NBA, is coming off an injury and slid in the draft. People are questioning whether he's even starting caliber in the NBA with his skinny frame and rawness on offense.

Sullinger is a player. He's shown he not only belongs, he could be a force. He would have been a lottery pick in the deep 2011 (iirc) draft given a re-do.

If anything they should be giving us additional assets.

If anything we could trade up to draft Cauley-Stein with our BKN/ATL pick.

No way the C's trade Suly for Noel straight up.



Edit: Okay, Cauley-Stein seems to have shown to be a bad pick from what I've been reading.

But otherwise I still stand by my post.

I like Sully, but come on.  Noel is a wildcard ROY candidate next season.  No chance.  You might as well be saying "Crazy idea:  Sully for a Top 4 pick".  Yeah... of course we'd do that.
