if we lose this one, do we root for Utah tonight, cross our fingers we lose our final game and hope for a 3-way tie at 25 wins?

SPeaking too soon... close out the tank tonight, boys.

Wasn't someone saying the other day how 'obvious' it was that KO doesn't like playing with Rondo and that they aren't a good fit.  Really?

Would you do Doc Rivers style ball and abandon the offensive glass in favor of better transition and half-court defense?  I think it would be a solid strategy against this team.
I'll settle for better defense period.  Too often this season this team has been too passive.

Kelly is -13.  :(

Pressy is -24 vs the worst team in league history right now in only 15 minutes of play, while KO has gotten his +/- down to -9.  I think that some of the blame there should go on Pressey and not necessarily the 7 foot guy who can hit his shots

MCW is an awful matchup for Pressey. He's shredded him repeatedly this year.

Olynyk at least adds some shooting and scoring even if he's bad defensively. Definitely a charge in my book.

No, we also hope the Spurs bench their stars on Wednesday and get beat by the Lakers  ;)

Looked like a charge to me.

Very close. I don't think he was set, though.

his feet weren't but you don't have to be at least by the rules. But the heels were over the line that means its an automatic block IIRC.

Definitely a charge in my book.

If the heel is even over the line it's a block whether they're on the ground or not, but I don't know that his heels were over it.

Kind of a weird position thinking of what I should be hoping for here.

EDIT:  Probably the right call.  At least there wasn't enough to reverse it.

It really shouldn't take this long to make a call.

Almost every NBA point guard is a bad match up for Pressey.  I really don't want to be overly negative about him, but I don't think he belongs in the NBA.  For all the talk of people who say we should finish strong to teach good habits, I mean a lot of the guys on our team have no business on a serious NBA basketball team.  If we are going to be competitive, it will be with them deep on the bench or somewhere else like Spain or China.

Pressey is an incredibly skilled dude, but his body just isn't meant for the league.  He is too small and not quick enough.

Yet he is a good passer and ballhandler and is lightning quick. He needs to work on his offense though.

So was that pass to Invisible Paul Pierce or Invisible Ray Allen?  :(

Oh yeah, KO has been very good offensively. 26 points on 50% from the field, 2-3 from 3, 6-7 from the line with 8 rebounds. He's just struggled defensively.
