There is absolutely no way I could narrow this one down. Not even close.

If we extend it out until 40 years and three days, I would've liked to have been there for Hank Aaron's 715th home run, watching him getting a standing O in the Deep South in 1974 would probably be the most amazing experience.

Other than that, I would've liked to have been in Japan for Lib Tech's Holy Bowly last year. That would've been a super fun course to ride.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

1980 Wimbledon Final between John McEnroe and Bjorn Borg.
Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is a mystery.
Today is a gift...
That is why it is called the present.

With Miracle on Ice being the clear #1, here are some other events of the past 40 years I would loved to have been at:

-Hagler/Hearns
-Game 6 '86 ALCS
-BC/Miami '84 (Flutie game)
-BC/ND '93 (David Gordon kick)
-Super Bowl XXXVI
-Super Bowl XXIII
-Any Original Dream Team game
-Game 5 '04 ALCS (I was at the Dave Roberts game, though)
-'90 NFC Championship (NYG-SF)
-Duke/Kentucky (Laettner game)
-'81 ECF Game 7 (Sixers/Celtics)
-'75 World Series Game 6

I know I'm leaving a ton off too.
I only picked one BUT haggler vs hearns  :o  :o
now that was a fight, felt so bad when hagler "fought" ray leonard , last boxing match i pretty much watched

8 minutes 1 second yet, argurably, the greatest fight of all time.  Just the two of them beating the absolute crap out of each other.  Essentially one of those fights you see in movies except it actually happened in real life!

Don't get me started on Hagler/Leonard....

Extremely easy Youtube watch also since its so brief.
