Seems like a bit of an exaggeration - Barea can shoot, but he's pretty horrible at facilitating an offense and doing pretty much anything beyond chucking shots.  That said, Rubio's a really, really horrid shooter and there's no realistic future involving both Rubio and Love on the Wolves.

Craziest stat I have heard all year was about two weeks ago when it was reported that Rubio had TWO fourth quarter field goals all year!  Amazing.

He can still handle the ball and pass but nobody guards him.  He can't even finish at the rim.  And he gets benched in crunch time  because of that.

Barea is more aggressive and better at penetrating and making the defense adjust.  Every time Rubio catches the ball his man is 6 feet away.

I don't think it's as bad as you guys think. Obviously OKC says no, Westbrook is definitely very valuable to them. but Ibaka would be a perfect compliment to Pek. Love and Pek are both great offensive bigs, neither can defend a chair though. With a rim protecting 4 like Ibaka, Pekovic would be even better. This is a 20/10 center we're talking about, not Ryan Hollins or something. Obviously OKC would have to demand a few more picks in the future
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

Ibaka and Pek would be a great pairing, no doubt, but OKC is giving up the best player in that deal by a long shot.

Of course, that seems to be OKC's model, so maybe we'll have to wait until they don't rake in that WCF Finals attendance money, panic, and trade Westbrook to save cash.
