Brandon Browner agrees with Patriots 3 years 17mil!!!

Our secondary is going to be a force.

Also we need to rename this 2014 or make a new thread

Love the Browner signing.

Pretty deep at corner.

Browner
Dennard

Yeah, saying "that Rudgers kid" isn't exactly narrowing the field when it comes to the Patriots :)

But he did mean Logan Ryan. Hopefully his good performance can be sustained. Both McCourty and Arrington had a good "flash in the pan" seasons early on they were never able to replicate.

Pats have had a great off-season.  I'd love to see them add a pass-rusher and a veteran tight end before they finish up with free agency.

Still, even if the only significant additions they make from here on out are through the draft, I'd say they are well set up for next year.

I didn't realize Browner's cap hit is low this year.  what does it go up to next season?

I agree with PhoSita that a pass rusher and TE are still important to add.  I'd be glad with a WR or a durable TE.  Also will need to find a tackle if Vince is released.

Yes but we want to keep some room to extend existing players. Mccourty top of the list.
I think Pats are done w bigger name FAs. I think we will see Blount and Wendell resigned , and some vet min FA types at WR, OL (Svitek?), DE (Carter?) and Safety (Gregory?).

Doesn't make sense to sign Gregory back, not quite sure eating his 3 million cap hit gives you any savings. I suspect they're hoping to have Wilson contribute this season. Adrian, not Tavon.

Man I hope I kept Lafell in my keeper league as an option. The guy oozes potential. I thought for sure he'd take Steve Smith's touches in Carolina. He'll be a favored deep target in NE. So talented.

Lafell should be interesting. Does he reach his potential with Brady tossing him the ball?
