Love the Revis signing, I think he takes the top cornerback spot back from Richard Sherman now that he is on a good, well run team.

I would like to see them add some offensive weapons for Brady (either a wr, te or receiving rb), a pass rusher and a safety. Then we are ready to compete with Denver.

They definitely still need to address their WR situation.  Lots of question marks there and, indications are, the Browns are now making a run at Edelman.

Brandon LaFell is a target. Maybe not the most exciting one, but a target none the less.

Like LaFell as a target.

6'2, long, tall WR who could give the Pats a needed outside receiver.

Also, if Amendola leaves I like Steve Smith as a plan B. Panthers just cut him.

Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

Would love Steve Smith (he's one of my favorite players) but I'm 85% sure he's headed to the Ravens.

Sure sounds that way.

Could be quite the receiving corps there if Smith signs.  If Flacco could pull his head out his butt.....

And now reports that Vince Wilfork is asking for his release.

Wow.  Talk about topsy-turvy 24 hours.

At least he didn't straight up retire like Mendenhall (who's decision I actually respect quite a bit).

Our run defense was awful once Vince went down if we release him we better replace him with a good tackle plus spend money to improve our wr, de or safety spots.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

It's not? his replacement did fine. Our run defense sucking wasn't because of wilfork going down, it's because his backup went down, Mayo went down, etc.

I can't say I saw that coming. Apparently word is he was asked to take a pay cut.

Yeah, I'm not sure, but it seems like he's doing this in retaliation for being asked to restructure his contract. Totally sucks. One of the Pats' few defensive studs.

They wanted him to restructure, he said no. The Pats are gonna have 3.5 million dead money if they cut him.

Between Mayo, Kelly, Jones, Ninkovic, and now Revis I think we have plenty of defensive studs.

Wilfork will leave $8 million on the table if he gets cut. I wonder whether he'll get this type of money on the open market.
