NFL's legal tampering period started today (Saturday) at noon, meaning free agents can start gauging interest around the league. FA signing period begins on Tuesday at 3pm.

I'm most curious to hear about rumors on Edelman and Talib. I'd love to have both back with the Pats, but I realize its a long shot...

Two negatives so far for Pats
1. Red Bryant (potential D line help) signed with Jags.
2. Packers just resigned their top CB for about 4yrs $40M. Between this and Grimes' deal, the price for Talib is going up.

Bump.
Reports are that Patriots are close to a deal with Talib.
And that Pats offered a 3 yr deal to Edelman, but need his commitment prior to start of FA.
Also, that Pats have reached out to Wilfork to restructure his contract.

TP for legal tampering.

Really burnt out on the NFL after the combine and  the superbowl, but interested to see what happens around the league.
