Continuing my theme of making Dirk Nowitzki a babysitter, I went with Noel.  I realize it is a gamble to take a guy who has never played a game in the NBA, but I think he is a great fit (in theory) with both Cousins and Nowitzki down low and I sorely needed a rim protector (of which I think he was by far the best one available).
I love me some Nerlens. If he develops into what some think he will be, then you just get a steal.

Tiago Splitter is a nice pickup for Toronto. Nice flexibility in their big man rotation.

PF/SF - Josh Smith
PF      - Ryan Anderson
C/PF   - Pau Gasol
C/PF   - Tiago Splitter

Raptors can go big (Splitter, Pau), they can go small, they can go defensive or put two highly skilled offensive bigs on the floor. Or even slide Josh Smith to the 3 to put extra size at their forward positions. Can both create matchup problems for opponents or negate possible matchup problems that opponents present.

Splitter was my first choice today, but Roy beat me too it.  A very underrated defender.  Then had to go with the homer pick Olynyk as a fallback plan.  He has been playing very well lately.

I wanted Nerlens on my team, just so I can ask him if his name really is from pronouncing "New Orleans" in ermahgerd style.

Guess so; he's skipped for now. So are you technically, but you're here so you can/should pick.

Suns now have it's SG.

A young, blossoming player who's quietly (for many reasons) having a solid season.

Averagin 13.8 PPG, a solid 3rd guard who can attack the rim and is still perfect for (thanks Who) running style offense that is led by Dragon and Jrue.

Teague is the guy I though was dropping dramatically.

Not having an efficient year, but still playing very well.

There finally goes two PGs that normally would be taken much higher. That's what happens when you only have 20 teams in a league saturated with competent PGs.

I considered Teague and Walker when I took Carter-Williams yesterday, but ultimately I went for the younger, bigger, and better all around player in MCW.  I am surprised that Teague (especially) was around this long, but when everyone has quality starting PG's and there are so many good PG's out there I guess it really isn't that surprising that he slipped a little.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I think between Lawson and Teague, they could both push the ball every time possible and since they are splitting minutes they won't get tired.

DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Darn. I was hoping one of Teague/Kemba would be available at my next pick.

Would've been great backup PGs for Tony Parker.
