He is definitely the most skilled wing player I could get. With Conley and Gasol, I expect his defensive shortcomings won't be as a big deal. He and Conley will play well off of each other because he is very comfortable with the ball in his hands and running the offense. Now we have 1-2-4 that can shoot the 3-ball and a team of willing and potent passers.

(That being said, he is very tradable, preferably for a wing drafted earlier in the second round.)

I would love you all if we could keep this moving. Have a meeting during my pick, but I can make it before then if everyone else before me goes.

You can send me your list if need be. I'm going to be free for a couple hours.

Okay there's just no denying that one player left has more talent than any other. I have a strong core. If he gets healthy.....

Okay gonna drop the bomb.
very optimistic he's going to make it back nevermind back to what he once was.

I would of taken him at 2.15 lol

Best part, you don't have to pay him $24mill per year!

I love the Kobe pick. Nice work.

A lineup of

Kobe
Parsons
Davis
Jordan

is pretty sweet thus far.

TRADE

OKC sends Ty Lawson, 3.19
Detroit sends Greg Monroe, 3.9
Given OKC HAD to move Lawson, that's quite the haul.
People on Celticsblog criminally undervalue Monroe. I had to move him as well, because he throws a wrench into the system I am trying to run.

I like it for OKC. They get to move up 10 spots and get the better player in the deal.

I like it for OKC too. I am just not a Lawson fan... I really cant give a reason why but I've never valued him  very high. If I didn't have Aldridge I would have bit on the Monroe offering.

Psyched I was able to pick up Pierce this late in the round. Had Pierce, Green, and Ariza at the top of my list, in that order.

Surprised you had Pierce rated over Green and Ariza

Yeah, seeing Johnson going before both Ariza and Pierce was a surprise.  I think that Ariza is the best of the three, btw.

I still consider Pierce being a better player than Green and Ariza right now. I also would trust Pierce more at the end of games than those two.
