Really wanted Millsap or West to put next to Howard. But Lee isn't too shabby at this point. Was debating between him and another guy.

I really debated hard about Al Horford.

But knowing the CB Draft's history of killing every injured players to the fullest, had to go in a different direction.

Tough though, Horford is everything you can ask for for a Center.
except short and he hates playing the position.

Didnt stop him from playing it great.

I understand the career numbers, but before he went down, he's primed for an All Star year. 18/8/1.5 blocks, 56% shooting. 22.16 PER and is just good on both ends.

The injury (now looks like recurring) is what scares me.
He was having a good year, but none of that strikes me as great.  Horford is a good solid all around player, but he doesn't excel at anything.  He isn't a #1 scorer, he isn't a great rebounder, he isn't a great passer.  He is sort of like Jeff Green but because he is bigger and taller he can play center and is thus more valuable than a good solid, but not great at anything, SF.

I think I would have gone with a wing defender there.  Probably could have gotten a stretch four with a bit more range later.

Lee is a solid complement to Howard/Harden, none the less.

I know it's boring, but this season Stephenson and George have been one of the best wing combos in the league, at both ends of the floor.

But he's way more consistent than Green.

He is having a good year, maybe headed to a much better one actually if not for the injury.

His November numbers goes 17/8/2 assist/1 block 56% shooting.

He then got even better by December going 21/9/3 assist/1 block/59%! shooting. And he's taking 15 shots. He's ultra efficient and during that time, you can make an argument that he's a top 5 Center. For someone who's a not a number 1 option on scoring, he sure does score pretty efficiently and a lot by December.

Of course, it stopped when he tore his pec. But I disagree that he's just "solid". Well, not this year at least.

If you aren't sure who to pick, Monroe is available for your first.

Would have done it but not a fan of him next to Aldridge. Much happier with taking Kawhi next to LA and Lillard.

Kawhi is an excellent pick there.  Really ensures you can defend LeBron/Durant as well as any team can.

Portland's biggest weakness is defense really. So being able to put a young, athletic, wing who can contain the Durants and James AND has championship level experience was a decision I should have made final around 1:45 as opposed to 2:11 when I made the pick.

Yep.  I was hoping I would get him next round.  In fact he was the only guy on my list.  I will have to do some real work tonight to come up with my plan B.

Just got out of an exam that ran late.  I would like to request a 5-10 minute pause

No pauses, but if BG is nice enough he'll wait until the deadline to make his pick.

Didn't plan on making my pick until later tonight so you've got plenty of time.

Rosters post is updated with the exception of BG's last pick. Any position shufflings you want to make, just let me know.

With Curry on the team he doesnt need to be a #1 option, and paired with a good C he makes for a very good frontcourt. And then there's always Iggy hanging around to do everything for the team.
