Went bold in grabbing Horford even though he's hurt. Feel like he'd do a better job at David lee's role on the warriors then lee does
was hoping he'd slide due to the injury  :'(

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I really debated hard about Al Horford.

But knowing the CB Draft's history of killing every injured players to the fullest, had to go in a different direction.

Tough though, Horford is everything you can ask for for a Center.

Rampant scandalous speculation time:  Horford keeps tearing his pectorals because he's a heavy PED user.  Discuss!

except short and he hates playing the position.

I was actually thinking he would make it out of this round and mid-way through round 2 at a minimum.  I mean it isn't like we are talking about Shaq in his prime here.  14/9.5/2.6 for the career is solid, but not overly exciting or awesome either.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

He's an other PF playing out of position unfortunately.  if Atlanta ever actually paired him with a solid center and let him play PF, he'd be so much better.  if he wasn't injured, Atlanta would probably have been one of the teams picked and he'd be a keeper.

If you're trying to finish up a trade, you can always pick the player the other team wants and finalize the trade after the fact.

Didnt stop him from playing it great.

I understand the career numbers, but before he went down, he's primed for an All Star year. 18/8/1.5 blocks, 56% shooting. 22.16 PER and is just good on both ends.

The injury (now looks like recurring) is what scares me.

Would have done it but not a fan of him next to Aldridge. Much happier with taking Kawhi next to LA and Lillard.

Kawhi is an excellent pick there.  Really ensures you can defend LeBron/Durant as well as any team can.
