Breadstein selects the Knicks
And I'll keep Anthony and Chandler

In a league where salaries don't matter, I think grabbing a top-10 player and a solid defensive and rebounding C this late in the round is a steal.

That was my group in last year's Pick 2.  It's a great foundation to build around.  And very, very easy to get a squad that looks better than this year's Knicks.

Yep, me too. I had them in my top ten. Actually, the Knicks were my second choice at pick #7.

Melo and Tyson are a very good combo to build around. A top go-to scorer and a top defensive anchor. Gives you a good foundation to build with on both ends of the court. Both non-PGs (league's deepest position). Lots of flexibility.

The Knicks supporting cast has hurt them so much this season. The big Italian has been awful. Their starting PG and 6th man have been killing them. Their old star big man hasn't helped. So many non-contributors to net negatives in that supporting cast. The CB Pick II Draft is a great draft to fix bad supporting casts because you keep your stars and dump the rest. Allows NYK to fix it's problems and build a very strong team.

I think NYC has a top three combo in the East.

Taking offers on Harden and Howard.

Too early?

Nice pick, love the backcourt combo. Add a quality big (which should be easy) and you'll have no trouble

Phoenix is an exciting pick. Looking forward to seeing what Yoki does there.

Phoenix is interesting at this point.  Maybe a bit too backcourt heavy for me, but Dragic and Bledsoe can definitely put the ball in the hoop.

Agreed.

Which is why Eric Bledsoe is on the block.

I'll take offers on Lillard or Aldridge (even though I'm happy with keeping them).

Rose and Noah, definitely were in consideration at my pick.  I was really just struggling with Rose always being hurt.

Yeah I thought of both the Knicks and Bulls at 6 as well but Rose's injury swayed me away. Good picks this late in the draft.

Just JBcat left before my pick.  I still have no idea what I'm going to do.  I am definitely leaning one way, which means that is who JBcat is going to take, but my mind could certainly change.
