Trailers have looked great.  I think the guy that directed Monsters is making this one.  Monsters is a pretty cool monster movie that was made on a shoestring budget.  Be interesting to see what he can do now that he has an open checkbook.

not really a twist though -- that's the backstory they used in the Matthew Broderick version.  Still this version looks sooo much better than that one.  the casting alone (MB just isn't a serious action actor) should make for worlds of improvement in this version

Hated the 1998 Godzilla. This one should be way better than that, I hope. Trailers and movie posters have looked promising. This Godzilla is suppose a lot bigger than the previous ones.

I was suppose to watch it tomorrow with my buddies but couldn't wait so I watched it with some other friends...

Not going to ruin the movie for anyone who hasn't watched it yet so I'm gonna keep a long story short

1. Movie that you pay purely to watch monsters fight, if you're looking for storyline, do not waste your time. The end. If you do want to see monsters fight, then you will enjoy the movie

It was entertaining and the visuals were actually really good, but [dang], there were a lot of questionable choices. The dialog was atrocious, too
