Quote from: esel1000 on February 20, 2014, 10:18:41 AMToo bad we didn't strike first and give them Bass... for one 2nd...Cleveland still imagines itself a free agent destination next summer, and wants to preserve it's cap room, so I don't think Bass ever was an option for Cleveland. He's a better fit somewhere like Golden State, which doesn't have cap room next year anyway.

who else can we get from Philly for two 2nd rounders? Thaddeus Young?
What salary is Cleveland going to send back? I'd be shocked if Philly took back salary commitments beyond this year.

Thaddeus Young?Hawes and Turner could be had for far less than Young, who's a much better player than both and also doesn't have an expiring contract (so he could be locked up for a little while by whichever team acquires him).I feel like Earl Clark and Alonzo Gee are going to be sent to Philly.

It could be Clark and Gee, I suppose. Philly's under the min salary, so what do they care?
