What say you? Salaries match. Maybe Celtics throw in two second rounders. Works on trade machine.

Cleveland made a bad investment. Cut bait, get some assets. Green and Bass are locked up for three years. Totally solid roster additions.

If you are going to trade Bass and Green, you should hold out for positive assets in return, not just a salary dump for an expiring contract.  (You're not planning on re-signing Deng, are you?) If you feel you must trade them, then wait and try again in the off-season.

Deng is not an upgrade over Jeff Green.  I say no.

I don't agree but I also think Green+Bass is too much. I'm sure most people would do it but it's too much IMHO (then they said a pick too 0.0).

this deal doesn't really accomplish anything besides overpaying for Deng.

it's a lateral move at best.  if we're moving Bass and Green for a single player, it should be someone who's a clear upgrade over them at a position of need which would also now include SF with Green gone.
