Why for Philly?
Before you guys blast me and say that Philly is getting heisted, I am suggesting they do consider this because they have been rumored to want to shed all 3 of those contracts, and would be willing to even take on bad ones, just to get their hands on a couple picks. Not only do they net 3 picks, but they don't even take on negative cap hits. It allows them to tank to the complete bottom, like they seem to want.
Why for Cleveland?
Dion Waiters is unhappy there, they are unhappy with him. Earl Clark has underperformed. They need to keep Kyrie happy, which means getting more competitive. Thaddeus Young is a solid big who can score underneath. Bradley can be a solid 2/backup PG, and give them some defensive toughness. It is an instant improvement to their roster, and only costs them two 2nd rounders and two players they don't seem to want.
Why for Minnesota?
Push will eventually come to shove with K-Love. I don't see them getting much better of an offer than a more than solid C in Hawes, another solid big in Bass, and Jeff Green.
They get a 1st and 2nd rounder from Boston, and a 2nd from Cleveland. They also shed LR Mbah a Moute. I've seen All-Stars get traded for much less.
Why for Boston?
We get the best player in the deal, an expiring/buy low opportunity in Evan Turner, who we can consider re-signing, and get to buy low on Dion Waiters, who has a ton of talent. Some of the draft ammo gets unloaded. I would even consider adding additional picks to this deal to go to Philly/Minn if necessary.
New Boston Lineup
PG: Rondo/Pressey/Bayless
SG: Waiters/Bogans/Turner
SF: Turner/Wallace/Johnson
PF: Love/KO/Sully/Faverani
C: Sully/KO/Anthony/Faverani
Youth with upside, two All-Stars and top 3-5 players at their position in Rondo/Love. We get much more competitive right away, and still have some draft ammo and cap-space to improve the bench.
