Thornton isn't what the Nets needed. They needed someone who can impact the game without needing shots. Not a one dimensional scorer.
It's a shame. Thornton could be a really useful piece on the right team but it has never happened for him. I hope he finds a better situation once his contract expires.
They're apparently pursuing Jordan Hill from the Lakers as well.
Thats one heckuva payroll that Brooklyn would be having.
