We are what we are... we lose to teams with an ounce of talent, and either barely beat or beat up on teams amazingly worse than us (Bucks, Kings, etc). I feel like we're going to be saying goodbye to a lot of players next week, and our talent level will be on par with teams like the Bucks and we basically lose out.

Just a hunch... I doubt DA wants this team winning 30 games

The celtics have had 2 quality wins in the last 2 months. The wizards and the raptors. They probably won't reach 30 wins, even if they dont trade talent away.

Pretty competitive game for the most part, Tim Duncan did his thing, though.

Can someone teach Knockout how to play defense?
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Tonight's game was true proof why we need a big man. Tim Duncan shredded us.

Is it me or does it seem like every well known player that comes in here gets way too many calls.  like Duncan tonight, our guys weren't even laying a hand on the guy but that whistle was chirping away.  and it seems the calls are more flagrant when we're playing home!!!

Tim Duncan had a nice game for sure.   Sully looked like he was 5 inches shorter than him.   Duncan scored way above this season averages.   Either Duncan has grown or Sully is the shortest 6-9 in the history of the world.   He looked 6-7 last night.   I am beginning to think Sully might be a bottom feeder.   Great against teams without a solid big man but exposed against a true big.

Reports were that he was sick in bed till shoot around.

I don't think he's a bottom feeder he's done pretty well against premium NBA big men as well as bad ones. He's just not consistent yet. Not a surprise given he's played only 92 NBA games.

Sully is a beast that hasn't even started learning but his lift is limited. his game is boxing out people and positioning.  I love that one arm rebound. he has great hands and I think next year he will make 6th man honors.

Yeah but why not stack the odds in favor of more ping pong balls. Ainge has done a great job of putting together a semblance of team which is really not that good. Great cover for the tanking. This trade deadline is his chance to flip the tank switch on high and power through the final half-season towards the lottery.  ;D

That probably explains his earlier game (19/17) against the Spurs.

He had trouble with Hibbert too.  Tall guys bother him.  Splitter was guarding him too that game this last game it was Duncan and he was nuetralized.  Pop adjusts Sully didn't.  Remember his performance against Dwight.

Sullinger is pf.  He is guarding out of position. I want to see what kind of job Zbo or Dwest can do on him.
