1st trade

To Bobcats - Evan Turner, 2014 76rs 2nd round pick
To 76rs -  Haywood, Pargo, 2014 Bobcats 1st pick

2nd trade

To Bobcats - Rondo, Bass, Faverani
To Celtics - MKG, Biyombo, Sessions, Gordon, 2014 76rs and Bobcats 2nd round pick

Bobcats are tired of losing and never making the playoffs. The team can't attract FA either. They are in rebuilding hell until finally this year, they are hanging on to 8th place. Rumors are that they will make a big splash come the trade deadline to at least secure a playoff spot.

Rondo and Al will team up again. They also get Evan Turner who has the ability to close out games.

The 76rs are happy with a 2014 first in return.  Celtics will get a promising SF and decent young Center/PF in Biyombo.

Terrible return for Rondo.  Rondo is worth a whole lot more then two high draft picks that are failing to meet expectations from one of the worst drafters in the NBA, MJ.

Rondo's worth alot more how?

He hasn't proven he can take a team to another level by himself.  He has been able to prove that he can win a ring surrounded by great players.

The bobcats haven't done anything in their existence. And they are close to a playoff birth, so the pick will likely be in the late lotto. Don't you think bobcats are seriouly sick and tired of being the laughing stock of the nba?

Top 5 pg in the game vs. MJ drafting mistakes and 2nd round picks.

And yes, Rondo has proven he can raise a team to the next level in the playoffs.  And yes, the Celtics need more talent around him.

They do not need to become the new Bobcats with this trade.

agreed.  horrible trade for the C's.  Rondo alone is worth more than that flotsam never mind sending out a good PF in Bass and a decent Center prospect in Fav.

ugh, just another bad Rondo trade from the we've-got-to-dump-him-for-pennies-on-the-dollar crowd

How about this all Mass trade with Philly just for fun.

At draft time we take Vonleh with our first pick.  We trade our 2nd pick with Rondo for Noel and MCW.  It would be cool to have a few local kids who probably grew up as Celtics fans be Celtics.
