1st trade

To Lakers- Okafor, Len
To Suns- Gasol, Henry, Johnson, 2016 Lakers 2nd

2nd trade

To Suns - Rondo
To Celtics - Bledsoe, Goodwin, Kratsov, Johnson, Ish Smith, 2014 18th and 23rd pick, 2016 lakers 2nd
___________________________________________________________

Lakers-Suns trade analysis - Gasol likely won't be back with the lakers next year and has little to no use for the rest of this year. Suns are desperate to bolster their lineup for the playoffs.  It's not easy to give up Len but the team already has Plumlee pegged as their future Center.

Suns-Celtics trade analysis - Phx gm Ryan Mcdonough was the main reason the celts took a chance on Rondo. He wants Rondo to help push the team into the playoffs. Dragic can easily shift over to SG and gerald green back to providing important scoring needs off the bench.  Rondo + Gasol addition would be solid additions to try to get far into the playoffs

The celtics mainly get back contract fillers (though if Bledsoe recovers properly you can sign him to a contract) and Goodwin and Johnson might turn out to be decent players but most important are the 2 2014 1st round picks. Danny will have a whopping total of 4 1st picks in a strong draft. If we get 5th pick and want to move up to 3rd, danny now is armed to do this without much issues.

If people are enormed with Embiid, Parker or Wiggins, OR want to potentially be able to draft 2 top 10 players using our many picks, this is the way to get it done. Trading Rondo (plus guys like Green, AB) will also help the team tank to make sure we get the highest draft position as possible

even without the lakers 2nd pick, this would be a decent trade for the celts.

Having 4 1st round picks in a strong draft would be an excellent way to rebuild a team

Both trades are beyond terrible for the Suns.
