Absolutely, and I wouldn't think twice.  Especially if it was the Clippers pick and not our own 2014 first.  I would do that and then figure out a way to land Lowry, who is undervalued.  Possibly via a 3-way deal with Jeff Green.

pg- Lowry
sg- Bradley
sf- 2014 own pick
pf- bass
c- cousins

I like Sullinger but given his athleticism (none), he is about maxed out as a player.
If he is maxed out as a 20-10 guy then I keep him definitely

Sully isn' a 20-10 guy.  He's a 13-8 guy.

Just because he's averaged 20-10 over the last week or whatever, doesn't mean all those oher 7-5 games never happened.
and he's had a hand injury for many of those 7-5 games.

watching sully vs Cousins last night showed me that Cousins put up those numbers because of poor help D for Sully covering penetration and Sully got a lot of his numbers by banging the boards and making tough shots while showing a good touch from outside.

Cousins looked solid but in a different way than Sully.  If we had a legit center or played better team D, Cousins doesn't have that kind of night.  I didn't see a lot that could have changed for Sac that would have prevented Sully from having the night he had.

one thing I would say about both though, if either had better teammates--at least a solid starting unit--they'd be even more productive players.   I know that's a 'duh' statement that can be said about most players in the league but with these guys I think they'd be real forces in the league if they had better support on their respective teams

Rondo/Sullinger/1st rounder is a gross overpayment for Cousins.

it's a crappy first. So Rondo coming off an ACL and Sully for a 6'11" 285 pound monster that averages 23 ppg 12 Rpg 3 assists it's not grossly overpaid. In fact Sactown would never do it.

Oh Yeah and he's 23 years old. I don't love the kid. But to have a center like him we could have a champion roster in three years and he would be only 26!

Honestly, I'd be rather reluctant to trade Sully at all right now.  I think you can still get more value from him by waiting another year.

Neither team would do this deal, as is, at this point in time.

No.

To further elaborate,  why would I do this.

Thats seriously overpaying. Especially now that Sully's turning into a hood starting PF and still has the potential to be better.

I like Cousins but I wouldn't trade Rondo for him straight up, let alone include Sullinger and a first.

I'd do something around Sullinger and multiple picks though.

Love to have him.    But that seems awful high price to trade both.     Maybe one ,  another player and coupe second rounders

That franchise will never trade him as long as he is a good citizen and teammate.   They have practically turned cartwheels to keep him there.

Not happening.......unless your a team with top three lotto pic this year ,,,,or another prime star is involved ..

Anthony Davis .......hum?
