To Blazers: Humphries, 2015 2nd pick
To Celtics: Leonard, Freeland, Wright, Watson

Blazers could use Humphries off the bench to make a strong push into the playoffs.  Leonard is not getting much of a chance to help the blazers. But for the Celtics rebuild , could come into his own eventually given some consistent time to play.   I don't think the Blazers will make this trade without getting back a future 2nd pick though. Leonard is younger with more potential and Humphries is a FA next year
I would hope Danny could do better than this load of flotsam for Humphries.  Portland gets a player that can provide significant help this year and then be resigned for more-reasonable money next year.
We get a bunch of crap that we hope won't smell as badly next year.

not a good deal for the C's

This is kris humphries, not kg. Leonard has upside. The rest u can waive

You cant expect alot for humphries. Best is a late 1st. Leonard was a top 12 pick in the 2012 draft

You also cant say if we dont get back the best for hump that we rather play him. If he is not willing to sign a discount for next year, you got to trade him
you're right, it's Hump not KG.  Hump is younger and can put up better rebounding and scoring numbers than KG right now.   He's also cheaper and an expiring deal.   He'd actually help out a contender this year and could be resigned next year for less money.

for that, I'd like something better than Meyers Leonard -- a big man that can't get playing time on a team that needs big men now.  Hump is a proven performer on an expiring deal.  settling for Meyers Leonard, someone whose sole benefit -- in your own words - is potential.  Potential that has no basis in anything realistic.  he's just young and tall.
the fact he was a top 12 pick in the prior draft means squat.  Darko was the second pick -- how'd that work out?  Oden, #1 pick.  now sitting in Miami doing nothing.  Bennett, #1 pick last year and looking horrid.  where someone was picked in the draft means nothing

Leonard has been buried in the bench. He is not allowed to make rookie mistakes. He has great size , wingspan , leap and some skills. Just needs time. Time blazers cant afford to spare.

Again what do we get by ke3ping hump? What r u actually expecting back?

Letting him finish the year and letting him walk after for nothing is just as bad as doing nothing imo

Firstly, Leonard isn't a rookie.  He shouldn't be making "rookie mistakes".

Secondly, the celtics got either three seconds or a first and a second for taking on Joel Anthony's $3.8 million salary.  You're having the Celtica take on over 50% more dead salary for next year, and give up a second-round pick, for Meyers Leonard, who can't get off the bench.  That would be a total fleecing of the Celtics.

It won't be 50 percent dead weight, when Bass and Green  will likely be traded by the start of next year

Rookies/sophmore salaries are peanuts (outside of top 10). Rondo's contract will be the toughest to handle

Imo taking a chance on Leonard might be a good one.  He is in a playoff contending team and is in a tough situation to get min.  Clearly a guy like Lopez is going to outplay him with his experience

I'd rather use Bass to acquire Leonard and as little future salary commitment as possible. Barton and Claver would work.

I'd like to keep Hump around if the price is right after this season as the first big off the bench. He rebounds well, can shoot a reasonable mid-range and some type of protection inside. He's not a quality starter, but a good 6th-7th man because he knows and understands his role without complaint.
